I Visited Pakistan From 10th to 18th Sept.It I crossed the Border on Foot from

Wagha Border in Amritsar (Indian Punjab) with my Wife.it was Wonderful

Experience.

I was in Karachi on  15th and 16th Sep. I want to bring out a case of a girl

Reema Zaka( a Co host  at youngsters Prog at Geo TV),who is daughter of my frnd

Zaka-ud-din.She does not Like meet as she thinks that these were living

creatures some time ago and she feels uneasy.Simlarly a friend from Lahore

Fayyaz Sikander has decided to not to eat meat during ramadan..

 

I may like to mention that S.P.C.A.Lahore(Erstwhile Punjab and Now Cpital of

Pakistan Punjab) ,which is run by livestock Deptt is also working for Checking

Cruelty to Animals Chief Inspector there Told me that they book 250-300 cases of

Cruelty to animals in amonth and have 17 branches in Punjab.Society for

Prevention of Cruelty to Animals was established in early 19th century.a water

trough built in 1943 is still there in shelter inside Vetrinary college

/University Lahore.I am having Photographs too.

I came across an Animal Welfare Organisation ,Animal Save Movement Pakistan,in

Multan.Its president Khalid Mahmood Qureshi and Gen secy Advocate Maqbool Bhatti

are working for rights of animals and Human beings too.I am sending You a link
