Invitation to Wildlife Education Fair at Rajkot, Oct. 4th and 5th 2008

Hello Friends,

 

 

 

'Wildlife Week - 2008' celebrations have begun. This year Wildlife

Conservation Trust, Gujarat Forest Department, Rajkot Municipal Zoo and Bal

Bhavan have jointly planned a various activities for the celebration. The

activities include Essay, Drawing & Elocution Competitions in about 700

schools of Rajkot district, Awareness Cinema Slides etc.

 

 

 

A very special event is 'Wildlife Education Fair' held at Art Gallery, Race

Course, Rajkot on 4th and 5th Oct 08. The fair shall have photography

exhibition of well-known photographer Shri Bhushan Pandya, Wildlife movies,

Forest Dept. stall, Rajkot Zoo stall, GEER Foundation Stall and 'Open Well

Menace' stall by our Trust. Such fairs have never been organised before in

Gujarat and is very prestigious event. Entry to the Fair is free to public.

Shri Pradeep Khanna Saheb, Principal Chief Conservator of Forest - WL,

Gandhinagar has consented to inaugurate the function.
