Oh - so now we have a better idea of which groups / which

individuals you agree  & disagree with.

Yes - drinking milk in Kolkata is tantamount to murder - I say this without

hesitation - I have not  " missed " seeing massive herds of happy cows eating lush

vegetation & chewing their cud - lakh's / even crores of them - some 20 years of

age - some even older. What I have seen are the stinking hellish regions of

slaughter places & tanneries called Tangra & Tiljallah & now Calcutta Leather

Complex - key / essential components of your  " humane slaughter " game.

Really ! - " humane slaughter " -  what a sick & twisted phrase to

use on aapn?

 

Are Titan " humane " ?

 

 

Titan have 2 " conveyor belts " - one bring animal skins into their factory - the

other brings out the leather watch bands etc.

 

Are WWF-India " humane " ?

 

 

WWF-India refer to animals on their site as " game " & they serve dead animals to

the corporate types who they are fawning over for money.

 

Intelligent / sincere / animal loving  " corporate types " fund smaller groups  &

actively help them to grow / develop.

I do challenge Scott's  / your concept of " selecting " which animals to love &

cuddle - which ones to torture & kill .

 

At Slimbridge - Scott's original UK " sanctuary " - you can sit & watch birds in

the restaurant whilst feasting on other birds - cooked ones.

Yes Merritt - Sir Peter Scott's " condom " comment was probably the most

intelligent thing that he ever uttered.

- I have had major differences on this Forum with Naresh Kadyan also

about his continuous flow of F.I.R. posts & Petition posts & about his very

apparent jealousy of Maneka Gandhi (vegan) - I do give Naresh credit though for

the fact that he consistently insists that cows / animals  are not killed - I

have never seen Naresh using the term " humane slaughter " .

I do not challenge your " right " to write this sort of garbage about

eating animals & drinking their juices - but please have the decency to post

it on a Gourmet Food Forum in future.

 

Bonus - this will make you " happier " also - as no-one will there say anything

to disturb your, very obvious, love for drinking cow juice!

If we don't want to hear about WWF and Titan then we should not hear

about WSPA or RSPCA or Compassion In World Farming or David Shepherd

Wildlife Foundation or any animal welfare organisation since they

accept meat eating, " classic Kill Some- Love some " folk. We also

should refrain in that case from attending future Asia for Animals

conferences since they preach and endorse humane slaughter. We should

then boycott organisations that serve vegetarian food since according

to vegans drinking milk is murder. AAPN then should only accept

messages from vegans since in John Edmundson's view apparently, " If

you are not a vegan you are a vandal. " John Edmundson discredits Peter

Scott but I think he was a great man who did more than many to save

animals worldwide despite his faults and association with individuals

like Prince Philip. I also disagree with the attacks on WWF since they

ignore the good work they do just as I would disagree with attacks on

RSPCA or WSPA purely on the basis of them not promoting veganism.

Although I appreciate John Wedderburn's new stance on Asia centric

issues, I am concerned about AAPN becoming a rigid forum which accepts

messages pertaining only to what hard core animal rights activists

would agree on principle. That way we would be shutting out many

important issues that are of interest in the real world, not the least

being meat eating and humane slaughter. I also diasgree with Kim

Bartlett when she says that AAPN should not post funding appeals. I

agree with Nilesh that funding appeals on AAPN could generate

favourable responses since in many cases animal welfare organisations

do not know which funding sources exist out there. AAPN could be

helpful in finding them out. Specialisation is good, intolerance is

not.
