PLEASE BE INTERESTED IN ANIMALS.

 

Saints and scholars the world over have taught us to see in every living being

the image of God, and they have described non-violence as dharma. To kill any

animal for fun or satisfaction of our selfish goals or for our taste buds is the

greatest sin.Man is the most cruel being on this earth. And our views and

actions are largely determined by the kind of food we eat.

Purity of food leads to purity of heart and a pure heart leads to purity of

mind. Spiritualism, in fact, is synonymous with a satvik state of mind.

Any action performed in such a state of mind is noble. Great men and women like

Newton, Tolstoy, Mother Teresa, Sardar Patel, Lal Bahadur Shastri, Dr.

Rajendra Prasad and Dr. Radha krishnan were vegetarians.

Vegetarian diet enlightened their minds and blessed them with noble qualities.

Any man who harbours feelings of ahimsa, compassion, benevolence, etc.

in his heart will never do or incite others to do any act which may cause pain

to other living beings. But those who have the tendency to torture, can kill and

make others suffer for their own selfish ends, prestige and ambitions.

Oh, my non-vegetarian brethren, please pay a visit to the slaughter house to see

how torture is inflicted on the innocent animals. Their pains and sufferings and

ghastly expressions on their faces would melt your hardened heart.

Question your conscience whether your superiority lies only in the selfish

perception of your taste buds and in snatching forever life out of these living

beings. Why can't we realise that they too have the right to live?.
