Animal Save Movement Pakistan celebrated International SEAL Day on 18th March,

2009. with animals friends gathering in which some school children, social

workers, lawyers and political workers participated. All participants took an

oath to protect the welfare of SEALS  & animals and birds and to continue

peaceful compaigns against cruelty to SEALS &  animals and birds. ASMP took an

oath also that we continue to strive for day when no SEALS &  animal and bird

will live in fear or pain. ASMP is working for the animals since a long back &

will continue its effort to reach its vision to help building a prospective

society through animal welfare where co-existence of human and animal is

symbiotic.

Seals  Threatened .

In your hands is the power  to save the lives of hundreds of thousands of

helpless seal pups in Canada which will die from a miserable, premature death

simply for vanity and extra bucks for the multi-billion dollar fur industry.

The seals are already threatened by global climate change, and with the global

warming more and more newborn seal pups will drown due to sparse, thin ice. 

Therefore, the commercial slaughter of seal pups in Canada supported by its

government is a reckless disregard for the ocean ecosystems, not to mention the

horrendous cruelty to seal pups that are cruelly slaughtered and even skinned

alive.

Canada's promise of a " humane " killing is contemptible and should be rejected

immediately. There is no wild animal " humane killings " -- Even if there was such

a thing, how would anyone supervise Canadian seal killers to become humane when

they are infamous for being cruel and heartless?  

I am counting on the principle that Europe, as the cradle of world civilization,

should continue acting as such.  Europe should send out the right message to the

world, and not stoop so low as to cover itself with the blood of the innocent so

Canada can make a few extra dollar.

Therefore, I am writing to appeal to your conscience and your compassion to vote

for a complete ban on seal products in Europe since it is NOT needed, and can

only bring shame upon Europe.

 

KILLING FOR PLEASURE OR FOOD IS INHUMAN. JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE MUTE- CAN'T SPEAK

OR FIGHT FOR THEIR LIFE, MEN HAS RIGHT TO KILL THEM IS NOT GODLY. A LOOK AT

THEIR  TEARS CAN CHANGE HEARTS.

MAY WISDOM PREVAIL SOON TO STOP SUCH BARBARIC ACTS. BIOLOGICALLY, HUMAN BODY ,

TEETH, LIVER, OTHER HUMAN ORGANS ARE FIT ONLY FOR VEGETARIAN FOOD- WHICH IS EASY

TO DIGEST.

LOOK AT THE TEARS OF SEALS &  ANIMAL BEFORE KILLING.
