Guest guest
Dear All, I want to share with you a traveling photo exhibit IFAW is hosting in China, titled Anthem of Life--- Human-Animal Bond After Wenchuan Earthquake. Using pictures taken during the May earthquake and the subsequent rescue efforts, we want to highlight the unbreakable bond between people and animals. The exhibit was officially launched on September 25th at an art gallery in Beijing. The below link is to an article in the China Daily on September 26th. http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/cndy/2008-09/26/content_7060967.htm The exhibit has two sections, 1) collection of photos taken by photo journalists during the earthquake 2) collection of photos demonstrating IFAW's emergency rescue work. Through this photo exhibit, IFAW hopes to highlight compassion in society and empathy towards other living beings. The earthquake may have broken many things but it cannot break the bond between people and animals. In the past month, three sets of 60 photos have been traveling around the city at shopping centers, parks, university campuses and residential communities.
