Dear All, Please go through the following articles: 1)The Hindu Daily http://www.hindu.com/2009/04/25/stories/2009042553520300.htm 2)Attached Mathrubhumi Malayalam Daily Translation: ''As there is a supreme court order banning the killing of dogs,it has been decided that the dogs 'will be only sterilised!' The opening line in the Hindu says that in the wake of the instructions from AWBI the corporation has decided to suspend the killing of stray dogs except dogs that are confirmed rabid and diseased! This clearly means they have been killing till date! which can make the whole gang of th*gs to go to prison! Shouldn't they go to prison? Don't we have to pray that their tribe should get extinct? THE TRUTH: >They have been killing,killing and killing! There is numerous substantial evidence to prove it! If they say that they killed the v diseased dogs only, it is totally untrue as there are only very few such cases; the killing is done using cyanide(god knows where they get it from!) and by the so-called 'vet' volunteers who have no veterinary training clad in red shirts being paid RS.20 increased to Rs. 50 in the recent past. THIS IS ILLEGAL! Fine,the other 1% accounts for the numerous pedigree dogs (I met a kind lady and her daughter living in an 'agraharam'-a Brahmin row house opening into the street who said they tried to rob her dog off her when it rushed outside while she opened the door saying it was a street dog!) they have sold! The Veterinary Hospital: They have tiled kennels that can accomodate 6-8 dogs which is quite filthy but meant for pedigree dogs of the ministers & nouveau riche! They have open-air metal cages that can rightly fit a hen in even though the hen can't have enough room to move! around 50 hens can struggle and accommodate themselves! these are used for dogs that come in especially the pedigrees to show people when they come to buy them. Most of the strays are killed at spots where they pick them up! No sign of food or water,except in the kennel of the minister's pug! I have the tape of the doctors at the veterinary hospital speaking to us (2 compassionate citizens who wanted to find the truth out) that they are receiving no medicines/syringes etc. but depending on samples certain companies send them! They was a dog immediately outside the hospital entry in 'hen cage' and it looked weary and quite unconscious. So i asked inquired to him about the dog. He said he said sterilised it in the morning; having seen how sterilisation is done,I know that they shave off the fur from the dog( and that too it was a female dog) and i just made him remember that! he blatanlty lied to me that the fur grew back after the sterilisation (within 2 hours,'fur growing back',surprising!!!) Then he also told me that they were sterilising(hhhhooooooooooooooo!) and that they dump them back somewhere else from where they pick them up, totally against the ABC plan, but god only knows what they did to those dogs!) >Intellectual warfare by saying they are doing the ABC programme, putting words and pictures in their website(RIP- www.suraksha.com, which have been taken off the www) showing the ABC programme which was apparenbtly that which went on at the Animal Rescue Kerala Shelter who taught them the ABC programme and they went on and killed hundreds of sterilised dogs!, projecting through the media and the press that there is a high menace of stray dogs in the city! and the ramblings of the so-called vet volunteers who wanted a hike in price from Rs 20 to kill a dog and bury it on somebody's land (I have got pics) etc.) ON Today's newpaper reports: HINDU: What Mr Jayan Babu (not Mr really as it is only meant for Gentlemen!) saw might have been in his morning dream that too must have been the pedigree dogs inside the vet hospital! Express: I don't know who has been wondering the increase of stray dogs? Vigilant citizens would have noticed their extinction! In the city all you may see is 1 or 2 dogs after a whole day visit to Trivandrum! The have been killing till April 3 of this month! '' A veterinary doctor has to certify the animal before the sterilisation.Corp. volunteers entrusted with the job of killing the stray dogs would not find it viable economically'' This again clearly states that they have been killing till date even though it was illegal then also! Also, if they cannot follow the rules of the land let them migrate to thie la patrie's or kill themselves! (maybe the so-called communist China where they will be happy and can beat or kick or kill or fry and eat the dogs up!) ''the corporation has 18 volunteers who work in two shifts. Since January, the corporation has been paying them Rs.50 per dog. Before,that,it was Rs.20!'' Please understand for what have they been paid Rs 50? The so-called vet volunteers? they have used a new term 'sterilisation and killing'! does that mean laymen (go knows if they went to school even) doing miracles by performing surgeries? THIS DEFINITELY POINTS OUT THAT THE 'SO-CALLED' VET VOLUNTEERS HAVE BEEN KILLING THE DOGS AND RECEIVIUNG AN AMOUNT FIXED FOR EACH DOG! '' ABC rules'' After all being a democracy for more than 60 years, will it take a city corporation 8 years to get the message from Delhi to implement the law that was passed years ago?
