Guest guest
Dear Dr.Sandeep and all who this may concern. It has been many years now that I have heard from the AWBI on any matter involving animal rights. The AWBI for quite sometime seems to be least bothered atleast in my case. As a qualified Master Trainer in Animal Welfare for the AWBI, I have approached the Secretary and the Chairman seeking their intervention, suggestions etc on a lot of serious issues involving animal abuse. But I have not heard anything as yet. Some years back, the SOS letters to AWBI did get get responded though through a fax from the office but now even that has stopped. I qualified as a Master Trainer in the year 2001, but till date despite sending several requests for my Identity card I am yet to receive one. I am planning to go to Delhi soon and meet up with the secretary Animal Welfare Division to surrender my Master Trainer certificate as it is just trash at the moment. Maybe the Government of India can then demand an explanation from the AWBI for wasting Government money in such trainings when the future is ZERO. There are many grievances by my colleagues (mostly individuals) those who had a desire of doing something better through the AWBI for animals and got trained/ certified only to be distanced by the AWBI. I had this idea of starting a blog or a to discuss the valid grievances within ourselves. But then in the greater interest of animal welfare I have not done so. Hoping that someday they may learn from their mistakes, but they only seem to multiply.
