Guest guest
My dear AWOs of India, I am sure many of us are following this example but it is important that we all make this a universal rule. Many a times citizens who find animals in distress want to help the animal/s but do not know how. It is my appeal to the existing organisations registered with the AWBI that they publicize their 'HELPLINE' numbers through the various mediums that exist locally so that emergency services for destitute animals can be arranged 24x7. PFA- Kolkata`s helpline features in a popular National daily called 'The Telegraph' and most of the newspapers and electronic media print/ publish the contact info FREE of COST. One can follow the PFA- Kolkata example to begin with. Let us also plan on having a 'Yellow Pages' kind of directory countrywide for animal rescue. More ideas should be contributed in this regard.
