" Earlier, only a few out of the 60 families in the village were ready to accept the compensation package to make the area inviolate. But now after the incident which happened four days back, the entire village has agreed to move out, " R P Gupta, Deputy Conservator of Forest, Karoli division told PTI. " As per the Central government's package, the villagers are being offered Rs 10 lakh per family or a piece of land. We are working out the deal with them, " he added.
