I have been appointed as Executive Editor of Excalibur starting from July 2008, a role that will entail me working alongside People for Animals Calcutta founders Purnima Toolsidas and Debasis Chakrabarti, who have also been my mentors for more than a decade now. It has been our aim to publish articles that reflect a broad range of interests for a global audience although some attention had to be naturally focussed on local issues exclusively. On the AAPN platform, I am posting the writings that would be of interest to an Asian audience and are germane to international issues. Comments and criticism would be welcome.
