Guest guest Posted January 31, 2009 Report Share Posted January 31, 2009 Animal Rescue Kerala currently has a case of contempt filed against Trivandrum Corporation as they stated in High Court that they were doing the ABC/AR programme..It is filed in the high court in Cochin,but it has not been decided by the bench yet if the case will be heared,this will be decided in the coming week. Yesterday (Thursday 29th Jan), whilst returning a dog who had recovered from a maggot wound to an area called Snghapuri in Karuman I was informed by a lady who lived there that the Trivandrum Corporation ‘veterinary volunteers’ had been there on Monday (26th Jan) rounding up and killing dogs on the spot . Unfortunately as is usual the lady was too frightened to give me a statement to this effect, or even her name.
