Unaccustomed to the climate, the imported pythons, including the huge South American python, began to die months ago. Now, the farm has only several local snakes. A reporter found that five of the eight snake cages in the farm were under renovation while the others contained only a python each. The RM1mil Taman Ular Sawa, on a 1.6ha land in Jalan Kuala Pilah, was mooted by Negri Sembilan Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan to boost tourism. It was said to be the first python theme park in the world. The state government spent RM400,000 to buy 29 pythons.
