Guest guest
Dear colleagues, The Animal Liberation Front has kindly sent me a copy of 'From Dusk 'til Dawn', the recently published autobiography of Keith Mann, long time ALF activist. If any one of you in India want to have a read, please let me know and I will send you some photocopied portions(The entire book is 650 pages long). As an advance explanation for those who may construe my action as abetting terrorism and encouragement of criminal behaviour, I state that terrorists and people with a criminal record have a right to speak and write to express their thoughts on what led them to do what they did. It is a human rights issue. The Guardian, one of the world's most respected newspapers has allowed a person with a criminal record to write for their newspaper(Reference: Journalism Right and Wrong by Ian Mayes). If Guardian can carry the voice of a person with a criminal record, so can AAPN. Let people read the book and judge for themselves. I also have copies of the film 'Behind the Mask' , a chronicle of the activities of the Animal Liberation Front for distribution in India. It has received a good response amongst people I have already sent it to. I am attaching an excerpt ffrom the book for your perusal and hope that you find it as interesting as I did. I am extremely grateful to the Animal Liberation Front for sharing their thoughts with me. Thank you, ALF. Best wishes and kind regards,
