Guest guest
Our contempt case came up in the high court in Cochin last week. There was a paper missing from the judge's file so the case was adjourned, I am told. Before a case is heard the judge is supposed to study the entire file The case in the Munsiff court, we should never have lost. Hari Nair, our advocate was very good. We lost on 3 points:- 1]a point of law which is completely inaccurate . 2]they have stated that Arun, our vet, should not have taken the case. ARUN,our vet, DID NOT TAKE THE CASE: HE WAS A WITNESS . 3]they say I HAVE TAKEN THE CASE BECAUSE I WANT TO BE PART OF THE SUREKSHA PROGRAMME .????? These are the 3 things we lost the case on PLEASE MAKE SURE EITHER YOURSELF OR SOMEONE REPRESENTING YOU IS IN COURT FOR THE CONTEMPT CASE,I BELIEVE THE CASE IS THIS WEEK AS IT WAS ADJOURNED FOR ONE WEEK. MY DAUGHTER PHONED ME AT 1AM IN THE MORNING LAST WEEK TO SAY OUR CASE WAS THE NEXT DAY. OUR ADVOCATE SALIL HAD SENT AN EMAIL TO US AT ABOUT 9PM THE PREVIOUS NIGHT. Coincidently, I was in Cochin at the time to have a second opinion on a surgery that is now scheduled for this coming week. If I had been in Trivandrum I would have known too late to attend the case. Salil says that he will ask for an adjournment because I will be in hospital but it may not be allowed because I do not have to be at the court; although I feel that as I took the case, the court should give me the oportunity; to be in court; that is the only way I will know if we have had justice. The Corporation were still killing in March this year, I have some photos on my computer which i think prove this. The corporation have opened a rabies vaccine clinic in Triv, WHICH I AM TOLD IS COSTING A GREAT DEAL OF MONEY, AND YET THE RIGHT TO INFORMATION SAYS NO DOG HAS BEEN PICKED UP WITH RABIES SINCE THE SURAKSHA PROGRAMME BEGAN?????? PLEASE GO TO COURT OR GET SOMEONE ELSE TO BE THERE. RELUCTANTLY, I HAVE COME TO THE CONCLUSION THERE WILL BE NO JUSTICE IN KERALA.
