The tigress dragged the horse to the forest but passengers managed to escape and also saved the horse. Ten passengers on a 'tonga' were going on Bichchia-Badkadia road of Sujauli police station under Katarniaghat reserved sanctuary area. Suddenly a tigress strayed from the forest and attacked the horse with her teeth and dragged the horse towards forest. The passengers jumped from the 'tonga', and saved the injured horse from tigress. In this half a dozen passengers were injured. The information was given to the forest officers who reached on the spot. The communication remained disturbed from noon till evening.
