" We have received around 230 samples of pigs from different parts of the country, including some districts of Madhya Pradesh and none of them have tested positive of Swine Flu, " HSADL Joint Director, S C Dubey told PTI today. " So far, the animal is free from this disease in the country, " he said. After the outbreak of pandemic in humans, pigs' nasal and throat swab samples were sent to HSADL for tests from different parts of the country, including, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, he said. HSADL is country's only labratory equipped to test Swine Flu in pigs, officials said. -- Thank you for your compassion !
