(IN) OPEN LETTER FOR ALL CHIEF WILDLIFE WARDENS IN INDIA

*29 lions and a bear were rescued by the chairman of the People for Animals

(PFA) Haryana Naresh Kadyan from Palwal based Russian Komal circus, these

animals were sent to Bangalore / Banargatta rescue center. Likewise PFA Haryana

moved to rescue banned species regularly as per details given below:

 

Asiad Circus : Based at Dehradun (Animal rescued later)

Amar circus : Based at Karnal ( Owner moved to the High court)

Asian circus : Based at Gurgaon (Two African lion died but Narsinhma

rescued)

Appolo circus : Based at Nauchandi mela, Meerut.

Russian Komal circus : All wild animals rescued.

Lakshmi female Elephant of Amar circus was cought by PFA Haryana chairman

Naresh Kadyan at Dhand in Kaithal (Haryana), animal rescued and brought to

Delhi zoo but I am sorry to say Laxmi is no more, criminal proceedings are

going on. One black buck was killed near Panipat, Haryana Police lodged FIR

then Naresh Kadyan moved complaint under section 55 of the Wild Life

Protection Act, 1972 before special environment court, likewise female

Elephant was cought for begging in Neelokhedi, complaint lodged but Elephant

still in the unsafe custody of Yaakub in Delhi, I don't know why accused got

possession again, one female Elephant was in Dabchik tourist complex in

Hodal found by PFA Haryana in illegal captivity, reported but wildlife

officials failed to rescue this animal which is openly displayed with

COUNTRY INN at Koshi before Mathura. One black buck along with Chinkara was

found in illegal possession of the Air Force station, PFA Haryana chairman

Naresh Kadyan moved complaint under section 55 of the said act.

The International Organization for Animal Protection - OIPA in India asked

all state Chief Wild Life Wardens / DFO's to rescue all wild animals kept in

illegal captivity and decide all claims / applications pending as per

notification issued in 2003, OIPA in India representative Naresh Kadyan

claims that wildlife officials are not interested to rescue animals from the

possession of all closed circus. It would be pertinent to mention here that

articles / wild animal trophies are still in the illegal custody of high

profile peoples like former MLA Abhay Chautala in Haryana, we demand prompt

action and recovery of all articles, Union Minister Km. Shelja declared her

Shahtoosh shawl from Mohali instead of Haryana why?
