Guest guest
I have been sent many SOS from Jaipur animal people who seek the attention of the masses into something which needs verification. It has been alleged that the 'Elephant Clinic' Help in Suffering (HIS) was running for the welfare of the captive elephants in Jaipur forts has been 'CLOSED'. This has caused a lot of tension within the animal welfare people in the city who believe that the HIS clinic was serving as an Oasis in that desert hell like environment of Jaipur. It has also been alleged that the closure is due tom paucity of funds. Can anyone confirm this news, because it is unknown as to what stands fate for the hundreds of elephants in the absence of HIS. We have already seen a gradual increase in the atrocities on the Jaipur elephants in the news. Thanks, Azam -- http://www.stopelephantpolo.com http://www.freewebs.com/azamsiddiqui
