According to civic estimates last year, there were only 70,000 stray dogs in the city-a figure activists consider an underestimate. " When there are so few dogs, how can so many be sterilized? " asked MNS corporator Rajendra Lad. Standing committee chairman Ravindra Waikar said there was no way to check if sterilized dogs were being operated on again. Thank you for your compassion !
