PETA

India seeks a motivated candidate to fill the post of chief functionary

in Pune. The candidate must be vegan (or at least vegetarian) and have

knowledge of animal rights issues. Prefer graduate from a reputed

institution with min. 6 years management experience. Must be personable

and able to interact with people from all spheres.

 

Candidates

must have superior communication skills, media experience, and the

ability to represent the organization; be capable of overseeing and

steering business operations, campaigns, legislation, public education

and awareness projects.

 

Must have excellent English writing

skills and must read and write Hindi fluently. Outgoing personality,

meticulous attention to detail, strong commitment to animal rights and

the strategic ability to help PETA achieve its goals.

Yes ! Politicians and beaurocrats( including IFS People) needs sensitisation on

these issues.MP rai a CWW Punjab along with Director Chattbir Zoo Mr.Dharmender

sharma and RK mishra were instrumental in organising shows of rescued (?)Snakes

and Python In chatt bir Zoo and other places in Punjab,with  involvement of one

Conservation NGO(?) . 

 

No CZA permission has been taken by wildlife officials and the NGO (for running

Rescue centre)  .

 

Few days earlier a maharashtra Minister was involved in this controversy.

Union Minister for Environment and Forest Shri Jairam Ramesh arranged a

 

photo session with snakes here in Bhopal in India in the presence of

 

electronic media, snakes were under very heavy stress, pain and session was

 

arranged against their will in unnatural atmosphere, which is the violation

 

of the Wild Life Protection Act, 1972. Complaint has been lodged with the

 

Bhopal Police / DGP of MP Police bearing No.Bhopal/1601/ 2009 dated 13-9-2009

 

by the International Organization for Animal Protection - OIPA in India.
