The proposed regulation will only affect certain breeds of dogs such as Tibetan mastiffs, according to Chang Kai-ting, an official at the Taipei Municipal Institute for Animal Health. " As Taipei is a populous city, we need stricter rules, " she said. Officials are updating the regulations after a wave of reports of dog attacks on people in the city, some leading to severe injuries. -- Thank you for your compassion !
