Nov 2 2009-Rescue abandoned dogs and cats in Beijing

Dear friend,

From early morning till the evening on Nov 2nd, the first snow has arrived

in Beijing with the temp of below 0 degree. There are a lot of the house

dogs and cats got abandoned by their owners after they moved out from their

used home at a construction area Beijing Daxingmen for more than a month

already.

So sad that most of the big dogs and the cats were already caught away by

the dog-cat nappers. After this news came out last week, the animal lovers

in Beijing: China Small Animal Protection Assn, Rainbow Bridge Animal

Rescue Group and Ms Du Yufeng, the director of Guangyuan Boai Animal Rescue

Center from Sichuan Province (The earthquake area of last year), they went

to the construction area at the snowing, cold day, they've got 8 dogs and 2

cats rescued. (please note the cat traps they've used for catch that white

cat was the trap I sent from Animal Care Equipment & Services in The States

for a loving girl who is the director of Rainbow Bridge Animal Rescue

Group).

They urgent need more people to join the rescue actions and they've been

continually to go to there today and forwards to try their best to rescue

the remaining poor dogs and cats there since then. One cat (white cat in

the cage) got adopted by a rescuer at the area, and the rest of the rescued

dogs and the cat are taking care by China Small Animal Protection Assn.

Big thanks and great appreciating to them all!

This news came from Blue Panda (a loving girl who's in charge and the funder

of Beijing Rainbow Bridge Animal Rescue Group)
