Officials who violate the regulation will be named and shamed. Farmers tried over tiger stew YUNNAN - Six farmers stood trial on Wednesday in Xishuangbanna for eating tiger meat, the Chongqing Evening News reports. The report said two of the farmers hunted and killed the tiger in February. They stewed the meat and shared it with four friends the next day.
