Guest guest Posted December 21, 2009 Report Share Posted December 21, 2009 Villagers pleaded with the police to shoot the leopard, but the police argued they had no orders to shoot the animal from the tehsildar (senior village official). The enraged villagers then ransacked tehsildar's vehicle and even manhandled policemen yesterday. Besides, some villagers also destroyed camera of a private news channel.
