Regarding below Pradeep Nath, Visakha Society for Protection and Care of

Animals (VSPCA) www.vspca.org , writes:

They will fight fiercely. This is a mafia. We will continue in court. I

may face some problems because they said they are used to slaughtering the cows

and indulging in this activity.

to the formation of the ‘Akhil Bharata Gosamrakshana Seva Samithi’ for the

Announcing this at a meeting here on Friday, Visakha Society for

Protection and Care of Animals (VSPCA) president Pradeep Kumar Nath spoke about

the efforts of the organisation to prevent cruelty to cows. The organisation had

rescued over 1,730 cattle from illegal slaughter and transportation.

The united forum was formed to protect sacred cows and their breed which

was fast depleting and many of the Indian breeds that were on the verge of

extinction.

comprises nine members. The next meeting would be held at Simhachalam on January

10.

temple by devotees were being sold to slaughterers by the temple authorities

through auctions. The temple was earning a revenue of Rs.20 lakhs every year

through the sale of around 6,000 male calves.
