Guest guest Posted March 14, 2010 Report Share Posted March 14, 2010 South China Morning Post Mar 14, 2010 http://www.scmp.com The State Forestry Administration has despatched a team to look into the deaths of 11 rare Siberian tigers which reportedly starved to death in Shenyang Forest Wild Animal Zoo in Liaoning province, according to China News Service. A report by China National Radio said the zoo had been in financial difficulty for months and many staffers had not been paid. Two other tigers were shot dead last November after they attacked a zookeeper.
