Thank you for your mail to our Ministry.

 

As you write, it is indeed regrettable that animals and the environment in

general, are put to suffer do to the ongoing conflict between Israel and the

Palestinians.

 

The Israeli Minister of Environmental Protection has no authority to act in

the Gaza Strip, from which Israel fully pulled out of in 2005, and as such

the Ministry has no power to help the animals in Gaza Zoo.
