Guest guest
---------- Forwarded message ---------- Dr. Sharon Methvin <smethvin Mon, Mar 29, 2010 at 8:10 PM a new presentation I put together people4chineseanimals <people4chineseanimals > Hi Everyone, I am sending you a talk I just put together. If you might be able to use any part of it, please feel free to do so. If you know other avenues let me know too. It's on animals in China~~The Tangled Web. It has three parts to it: The cat/dog meat issues from what I found out and saw while I was there, cultural perceptions about animals from the ethnographic research in Beijing, and the emerging Chinese activism I had the opportunity to witness and be part of while there. There is a Pdf version available. The powerpoint version can be downloaded from slideshare at: http://www.slideshare.net/smethvin/the-tangled-web . I'll be back in China for the summer. Hope some of this presentation is helpful and you can find uses for it. Be the Change!
