Guest guest
Dear all, It gives me pleasure to announce the first publication of Tiger Chronicles, TRAFFIC India's e-newsletter on exclusively tiger related issues. It is an integral component of TRAFFIC's work to raise awareness and reach out to a wide audience on the plight of India's national animal. The document however, is international in perspective and covers news from all tiger range countries and beyond on tiger trade and issues germane to tiger conservation. It is largely a result of the hard work of the TRAFFIC India Communications Officer, Ms Dilpreet Chhabra, whose welcome message is appended. I am part of the editorial team and the entire TRAFFIC network has contributed to this with support from Mr Samir Sinha, TRAFFIC India Head. Valuable input has also come in from Mr James Compton, TRAFFIC South East Asia Director and Mr Richard Thomas, TRAFFIC International Communications Coordinator. The newsletter is in HTML format and is intended foreveryone interested in tigers, including national and international media. Kindly write if you desire to possess a copy. The first issue has items from India, China, Indonesia and England. Please note hard copies are not available. Thank you. With best regards and warm wishes, Sincerely yours, Ghosh Regards Programme Officer TRAFFIC India WWF India Secretariat 172-B, Lodi Estate, New Delhi 110003, India Tel: +91-11-41504786, Fax: +91-11-43516200 Visit us at " www.traffic.org " TRAFFIC- the wildlife trade monitoring network- is a joint programme of WWF and IUCN-The World Conservation Union.
