Dissection debate: Turning the knife in. After schools, animals may soon be off dissection trays across universities and colleges, as animal welfare activists, led by PETA, take forward their campaign. The anti-vivisection campaign has seen some 15 universities deciding to completely do away with or “minimise” animal dissections. Five of them have done so in the past six months.
