Saraswathi Kendra Learning Centre For Children (SKLC)

1985 - TWENTY FIVE years ago, when Learning

Disabilities were hardly known to any one, the C.P.

Ramaswami Aiyar Foundation took a small step by

setting up a remedial room for children with learning

problems and disabilities. Over the years this has grown

into a full fledged centre, the first in India and still the

only one of its kind in South India, affiliated to the

National Institute of Open Schooling, which enables

children with Autism, Dyslexia, Learning Disabilities

and ADD / ADHD to complete their schooling.

Saraswathi Kendra searches for the unique ability of

each child and, as a result, has probably produced more

celebrities than any other school in the country -

musicians, dancers, singers, sportspersons,

businessmen and many more. Saraswathi Kendra

uses a variety of creative and innovative methods to

reach out children making it possible for even an

autistic child to communicate and get reintegrated into

a regular school.

2010 - It has been a long and satisfying journey. Please

join us to celebrate the last 25 years.
