Guest guest
I know what you mean. When my allerguy test came out positive for cow's milk, the doc says oh you are lucky you can have goat and sheep cheese. Yikes! The thought gags me too. I love cow cheese. I have no idea why goat seems disgusting but cow doesn't, LOL hugs, Chanda - Winterchill Sunday, August 24, 2008 4:26 PM Re: Re. :Tastes We Don't Like.... For me it is goat cheese, I just cannot stand the smell or taste of the stuff. In fact I really do not like most white cheese. I think mozz and one other (cant remember the name) are the only 2 white cheeses I like. The rest make me cringe. 'Do what thou wilt, but harm none'. My late husband was a Bay Leaf freak...had a tree in the backyard so he put 2 or 3 times the amount called for in every recipe....YUCK! I just don't like the flavor. Also, I just hate fennel, I guess the licorice taste in food just grosses me out. Lastly, Basil.....I have 3 different kinds in my garden and they grow like crazy but I just can't make myself like it. Weird, because I'll put cilantro on almost anything as well as garlic, onion, etc.....I love spicy and hot, curries, etc., but BAY LEAF, FENNEL, BASIL are just icky to me. We should start a thread...what is your favorite herb or spice? What is your favorite vegetable? Have a great evening!
