Guest guest Posted August 26, 2008 Report Share Posted August 26, 2008 Baked BBQ Tofu 1 lb extra-firm tofu 1 c mushroom broth 1/4 c Korean BBQ sauce* 1 tsp tomato paste pinch smoked paprika or to taste Press tofu for an hour or two. Combine broth, BBQ sauce, tomato paste and paprika in a small bowl or measuring cup. Slice pressed tofu in 8 pieces. Lay in a shallow baking dish and pour marinade over the slices. Let set for an hour or two. Bake at 350 for an hour, flipping the slices at the halfway mark. If you want chewier slices, turn off the oven after an hour and leave the tofu inside until it cools. * I don't like sweet BBQ sauces and this kind from Sun Luck is not sweet and rather garlicky.
