Lavender Crème Chantilly

Top some pound cake with this.  I dry my lavender and add to sugar in a jar.

Lavender Crème Chantilly

 

1 cup heavy whipping cream

2 tbsps. lavender sugar

1/4 tsp. vanilla extract

 

Combine all ingredients in large bowl. Whip with standing or hand mixer or whisk

until soft peaks form.

I love lavender but have never seen lavender sugar, where do you get it?

I make mine by placing dried lavender in a container with white sugar. Stir it

daily for about a week or so and the sugar with pick up the lavender flavor.

Tastes great in lea and you can bake with it too.
