Guest guest Posted August 28, 2008 Report Share Posted August 28, 2008 Baked Seasoned Squash Ingredients: 2 acorn, butternut, or whatever winter squash you have on hand. ½ cup water ¼ cup brown sugar ¼ cup butter ¼ tsp black pepper ½ tsp seasoned salt ¾ tsp basil Wash squash and cut in half. Remove seeds. Pour the water into a baking dish and add the squash cut side down. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Take out of oven and let cool a little. Scoop squash out of shell into 2 quart casserole dish. Add the rest of the ingredients, stirring well. Return to the oven and bake for 15 minutes. Serves five.
