Guest guest
Re: Question about " crumbles " Posted by: " Erin Gibson " erinandtwo erinandtwo Thu Sep 4, 2008 2:26 pm ((PDT)) Please tell me what is a DH? Hi, Erin! I had to learn it once, too! " DH " (at least when I use it) is e-mail shorthand for " Dear Husband " --my spouse, partner-for-life, Honey-Bunch and " Better Half " , in other words! There is also DD (Dear Daughter), D-SIL or DSIL (can either be " Dear Son-in-Law " or " Dear Sister-in-law " , depending on the context. DS (Dear Son or Dear Sister--again, context!), and so on...I have e-mail friends that sometimes give me reason to scratch my head when they write " BF " for " best friend " or " DSO " --Dear Significant Other...there are a ton of those terms and sometimes you give it your best shot and figure, " It must mean somebody--who, I am not sure! " Hope that helps to clarify it a little. Sorry I if I overused the expression--it's like the " LOL! " thing--I've seen it so many times (laughing out loud) that I don't think a thing about it anymore, but there was a time when I had to stop and wonder what was going on! I hope you have a great weekend! Sorry for the confusion! --Laura B., the " DW " to my " DH " and we've been happy together for 31 and a half years!
