Guest guest
Has anyone else tried the frozen Morningstar " Asian Veggie Patties " . They have waterchestnuts, chili's, ginger and other great flavors in them. Donna Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile
Guest guest
Yes, I did try them, and found them gross. Maybe I should have put them on a bun or something, but just as a patty, they are way too dry. I tried all the flavors of that particular brand, and felt the same way. I just can't bring myself to throw them out, though, because they were so expensive! Life is way too short to waste your precious time doing work you don’t love, enduring relationships you merely tolerate, and settling for limiting thoughts that hold you back. If you decide to waste this day, that’s the same as deciding to waste your life because your life is happening right now. Guest guest
On a toasted onion bun with a huge slice of heirloom tomato, grilled mushrooms, onion slice, lettuce and Vegenaise we all loved them. Try them this way. Guest guest
I found them for $3 a box on sale, they rock big time. Try them again. Dry they aren't. I loaded mine in a sesame seed bun with all the fixings and ate all 4 of them in 2 days. Brad , Traci Vujicich <balanceyourlife wrote: > > Yes, I did try them, and found them gross. Guest guest
Veggie patties need much shorter cooking times, if it is dry it might have been overcooked. If you still do not care for them as a patty you could crumble and use as taco 'meat' or in spaghetti sauce perhaps? , Traci Vujicich <balanceyourlife wrote: > > Yes, I did try them, and found them gross. Guest guest
I have not tried the Asian Veggie flavor, but the Basil Pizza are my indulgence! I could eat the entire box in one sitting! LOL I get the garden ones, as they have waterchesnuts, diced red and green peppers, and other veggies you can see. I prefer Morningstar over Boca on all of the frozen products. Guest guest
I'm quite picky when it comes to alternative veg patties and I do love these. I could eat them every single day for the next 2 months. I have tried a few different things with them. Here's my favorite: I diced one up and placed on top of steamed rice and topped with a little sweet and sour sauce and green onion tops. Guest guest
Sounds appropriately Asian. I think I may try that next week Cassie --- On Fri, 9/5/08, sparklingdagger <sparklingdagger wrote: > sparklingdagger <sparklingdagger > Re: Asian Veggie Patties (new product) > > Friday, September 5, 2008, 12:53 PM > I'm quite picky when it comes to alternative veg patties > and I do love > these. Guest guest
I found that the veggie patties are definitely not suitable for the microwave. They should be either grilled, broiled or pan fried! Guest guest
I make a mean " Chinese Non-Chick Salad with these delicious burgers. You can use any Chinese chicken salad recipe and replace with these burgers crumbled up instead. I take it to work and my employees dive in and eat it up. No one has ever asked about the ingredients they just ask I bring it in again. DM

Guest guest
I just ate one of this at my friends house. I haven't found them yet in the market. I can't wait to get my hands on them. What a wonderful flavor. I'm knid of sick of the other ones out there. I like the tomato-basil too though. Tina
