Pressure Cookers ( Canada)

Canadian Tire has Fresco Pressure cookers 40% off this week. I just

bought the 5.5 litre model for $24.98. I haven't had much luck with

pressure cookers in the past but I have heard good things about this

one.

If anyone could tell me, should I be soaking beans overnight before I

cook them in the pressure cooker?

Yes, Julie, or you can do the fast preparation of bringing them to a boil,

boil for five minutes, let them soak for an hour, then you can go ahead and

cook them. I usually do this in the pressure cooker as it is less pots to

clean.

I don't soak or boil beans first. They cook in around 5o minutes in

the PC> There is a pressure cooker recipe folder in the recipe

files. I have used some of those recipes.
