Guest guest
Hi Laura, Mesa is far from the area you will be visiting. I live in the NE corner of Mesa which is E of Phoenix, but the big cities all flow together, here. I believe you should get the meatless product anywhere in the country. I have found them in all the large super markets that are in every state. We are on vacation in Oregon and they have an abundant choice of these meatless products here as well. There are a lot of veggie protein makers. I bought prepared [non animal product] ham, and BBQ riblets, BBQ patties all veg based protein. Somehow the additives they use, did not taste good to me. :>( I think using the veggie meat replacement would taste better with just grilling it or adding a spritz of " liquid smoke " ...which you can buy anywhere. Use teriyaki or BBQ sauce on them, rather than buying the BBQ prepared veggie protein, is my way to avoid the products I don't care for. You can also have faux chicken which is easy to put the sauce over and bake it a bit. I hope you enjoy your travels in AZ Laura.
