Guest guest
Tomorrow I embark on my first business trip since I became a veggie. This will be a challenge, b/c on past trips I have grazed on whatever was conveniently available. I have ideas for survival: snag cereal, fruit, veggies when the opportunities present themselves; I'll certainly find a Subway somewhere along the line, and the veggie burger at Burger King is a good fallback. I will be tempted to stray, but I will be OK, especially with your prayers and any other travel survival tips you guys might offer. (I am about 80% vegan, so egg- and dairy-free suggestions are especially welcome.) Thanks! Padmasanadave " Changing the world one bite at a time... Guest guest
On my last business trip I packed some peanut butter sandwiches the way I like them, good bread and home made jam, with thinly sliced jalapeños....not everybody's cup of tea but perhaps you have a favorite (grown up) version of a PB & J sandwich? this works because it keeps very well. , " padmasanadave " <padmasanadave wrote: > > Tomorrow I embark on my first business trip since I became a veggie. > This will be a challenge, b/c on past trips I have grazed on whatever > was conveniently available. Guest guest
I just got back from a conference in Orlando. I packed my own snack bars and trail mix. Along the way I grabbed fruit from the hotel and ensured that before I agreed to dinner at a specfic restaurant I could get more than the mundane salad. The snagged fruit and trail mix were life savers. , " rosetalleo " <rosetalleo wrote: > > On my last business trip I packed some peanut butter sandwiches the > way I like them, good bread and home made jam, with thinly sliced > jalapeños....not everybody's cup of tea but perhaps you have a > favorite (grown up) version of a PB & J sandwich? this works because it > keeps very well. > > , " padmasanadave " > <padmasanadave@> wrote: > > > > Tomorrow I embark on my first business trip since I became a veggie. > > This will be a challenge, b/c on past trips I have grazed on whatever > > was conveniently available.
