Guest guest
I don't really use this herb although I do enjioy the flavor. My neighbor gave me a bag of fresh rosemqary. Do I need to dry it first or use fresh, how do I add it to soups, do I need to cut the needles up? Thanks for any help, you guys are wonderful. Guest guest
I'll help you out with that stuff, just put it all into a plastic baggie and mail it to me. Guest guest
You can use it fresh, to add to soup remove from the stem and chop them. If the stems are sturdy enough you can use them as skewers for veggie kabobs. In a message dated 9/9/2008 1:36:56 P.M. Guest guest
You can use dried or fresh. Yes, take the pine-like needles from the branch and chop really fine. Careful, a little bit goes a long way. If you want to dry just put the whole thing (branch and all) on a flat basket or similar so air circulates. When it is dried enough separate from the stems and put in a jar or bag. Rosemary foccacia, yum...... , Liz <moonlight_madame wrote: > > I don't really use this herb although I do enjioy the flavor. Guest guest
Pull some needles off and you can run some olive oil on vegetables and add the rosemary and salt, roast them. I also add rosemary to the vegetables I'm going to grill. Isis
Guest guest
My tip is to keep some chili powder, seasoned salt, red pepper flakes and garlic powder on hand and dried herbs as well. These items makes everything taste good. Brad
