Guest guest Posted September 11, 2008 Report Share Posted September 11, 2008 I've bought boxes of green tomatoes. They will ripen, even without any pink on them. We have bought them like this so they will last longer and we use them up as they ripen. I've never had a problem. I pick all of my green ones off my tomato plants, if a frost is coming that night and I've never had them not ripen. I set them out on the counter top.
