Hi Judy.... To your specific question...I DO use a coffee grinder 4 making raw

unsweetened SHREDDED coconut powder. (Also great 4 r powdering raw seeds and

nuts.) AnGELA

I know what you mean about how hard it is to find unsweetened streded coconut.

I usually stock up when I'm at the Village Market http://vm.southern.edu/ in

Collegedale, TN across the street from Southern Adventist University or at the

store at the Natural Health Food store at

I store it in my freezer. I

 

I don't know if they have an online store or not.

 

I would definitely try shredding the Coconut Chips(I love to munch on those) in

your food processor, but I would only pulse it, checking it every couple of

seconds, or you'll have powder very quickly.
