Guest guest
I love my pizza stone - but here's my problem. I make the pizza's while the stone heats up, by the time I'm ready to cook, the pizza is too soggy an dis impossible to get on the stone! I have to cook it on a pizza pan first then move it halfway through... what do you guys do about this?
Guest guest
I've had the same problem. A pizza paddle should do the job for you. Flour the paddle and place the dough on it before you top it. Put the end of the paddle on the hot stone and give it several short thrusts to slide it off the paddle onto the stone. When it's done cooking, slide the paddle back under it to lift it out of the oven. Mike realshows I love my pizza stone - but here's my problem. Guest guest
I don't preheat my stone. I put the pizza on it cold and put it in the oven. It still gets hot and does its thing. Guest guest
Spray your pizza stone and then Dust your pizza stone with some cornmeal. Spread out your pizza crust on the pizza stone and bake in a preheated oven for about 5 minutes. Remove from oven and then add the toppings to your pizza crust and bake until nicely browned top and bottom. Remove from Pizza stone with a metal spatula. Guest guest
Mike, Do you bake your crust partially before you add your toppings? I do. My stone stays warm for so long, that it it is still warm after I addthe toppings and put it back in the oven. ¸.·´ .·´¨¨)) ((¸¸.·´ .·´ -:¦:- Terri -:¦:- ((¸¸.·´ Genesis 2:15 The Lord God then took the man and settled him in the garden of Eden, to cultivate and care for it. Guest guest
We have a large aluminum paddle made just for this purpose. Now I wish I had a pizza stone....(it is on my Christmas list) , " Mike " <realshows wrote: > > I love my pizza stone - but here's my problem.
