Wegmans Bruiser Dog Food and Wegmans Buju and Ziggie Cat Food

Although not a pet owner myself, I know how much people love their pets and

think of them as a member of the family. I wanted to be sure you are aware of a

recall that included several varieties of Wegmans Bruiser (dry) Dog Food and all

varieties of Wegmans Buju and Ziggie (dry) Cat Food. These were part of a

voluntary recall by the manufacturer, MARS Petcare US, which included other

national and store brand pet foods, as well. Also included in the recall were

four Pedigree dog food products sold at Wegmans.

We placed automated calls to Wegmans customers who used their Shoppers Club Card

when purchasing the recalled products. Because some customers may not have used

their card, and because we may not have updated phone numbers for everyone, I am

also sending this note. By the way, you can easily update your Shoppers Club

contact information on our website to be sure you receive recall notices and

other information in the future.

For a complete list of recalled items, and all of the details about the recall

including a toll free number to call, please visit the Product Recall section of

our website:

If you have purchased any of the recalled products, return them to our service

desk for a full refund.

Still on the shelf are Bruiser products not included in this recall, because

they are made at a different plant: Bruiser Healthy Mix Variety, Kibble Variety

and Lean Kibble Variety, as well as treats and canned dog food.

We appreciate the trust you place in us. I want you to know that we'll seek out

answers from the manufacturer and do everything we can to prevent this from

happening in the future.
