Guest guest
Last week I received a bunch of radishes with tops in my CSA box. DH and I aren't huge fans of radishes (although I must admit I tried a slice raw and it was better than previous radishes I had tried). Anyway, not wanting to waste, I developed the following recipe... 1 bunch radishes with greens 1 leek 1 tsp margarine 1/2 cup strong boullion (I used 1/2 cube with 1/2 cup water...normally I use 1 cube per 2 cups water) Slice the leeks and saute in the margarine. Add the quartered radishes, chopped radish greens, and stock. Cook until radishes are tender. They were quite good. Even my boys (5 and 3) ate it - the youngest is on an anti-vegetable kick these days...not good for a vegetarian! I picked up my box again today and apparently we are getting radishes again soon so if anyone has a recipe.... Cheers, Paula
