Guest guest
This is a book I just read recently. I was at my fathers house with it to show him a chapter and he took the book and I have not seen it since. It is called Breaking the Seduction: The Hidden Reasons Behind Food Cravings---And 7 Steps to End Them Naturally by M.D., Neal Barnard ISBN-10: 0312314930 Pretty long title but is worth reading. This book does a pretty good job explaining why we eat certain foods and what the consequences are from are food addictions. Book is a much easier read than John Robbins. Focuses on transitioning you to being a Vegan. Has great recipe's in the back. I bought this book at retail price and just looked on Amazon and see you can get this for about 50 cents right now. Anything by John Robbins is always good just more technical. Hopefully we can get our Vegetarian Friends here to turn Vegan. Are animal friends will thank you. Dairy is not Needed to be healthy. Guest guest
I hate to stir the pot here, and thank you for the review, but I don't want pressure here from anyone to be vegan. It is up to each of us to decide for ourselves. No, I don't think animal products are necessary for health, but neither do I think they are the worst thing one can do either, and if eating a little cheese, or milk can keep me off meat then I will do that, and I find nothing puts my meat eating friends off more than me trying to turn them vegetarian.
