Guest guest
Yes, Tahini is made from Sesame seeds. B/c my son is allergic to nuts and he can't have sesame or sunflower seeds either. Tahini is usually found in most Hummus brands. So, we make our own hummus, minus the Tahini. (it really doesn't taste that different w/out it) If you are allergic to nuts, then I would make sure tahini is okay for you to ingest as well. If you don't feel like making your own, I know my Farmer's Market Pita/hummus guy will make tahini-free hummus to order. -Robyn , " L.B. Wouldn't sunflower seeds be similar? > > --Laura B., in Illinois
