Hi Syndie

Welcome to the group.  I'm in So. Cal.  When my older nephew moved to Nashville

he was very disappointednot to find there wasn't a handful of Trader Joe's and

Whole Foods within a few miles of his home.  He is so looking forward to Trader

Joe's opening up soon.

When we talk on the phone he never fails telling me his Trader Joe opening

countdown.

Have fun browsing our recipe folders.  That will keep you busy.

Hello I'm new to the group as well. I live in Nashville TN.

 

I was vegetarian years ago, not sure what happened. I'm trying it again mainly

for health reasons. I just never was a big meat eater anyway. I like to cook

so I bought a few vegetarian cookbooks and have been trying a few recipes.

 

We had Wild Oats here and then Whole Foods moved in last year and bought them.

I'm a displaced Texan where we had WF for ages so it was strange to finally get

one here (although I think they are freakishly overpriced). The good news is

that Trader Joe's is finally coming here too - in about 2 months. Exciting

stuff when you live in the land of the meat and three!
